RULES & REGULATIONS

HOW TO PLAY

The $1 Million Guaranteed Pick Six promotion will be held on Sunday, July 3 and Saturday, July 9, 2005.

Patrons who wish to play the $1 Million Guaranteed Pick Six may do so by simply wagering on the Pick Six at Hollywood Park or any satellite location which receives Hollywood Park’s signal and whose Pick Six pool is co-mingled with Hollywood Park’s. If you are not sure whether the satellite wagering location at which you wager co-mingles its Pick Six pool with Hollywood Park’s, inquire with the facility supervisor.

Use the typical (official) Pick Six betting cards to make your Pick Six wager(s).

The Hollywood Park Pick Six is a minimum $2 wager. A minimum Pick Six wager requires that you choose at least one horse in each of the six races involved in the Pick Six.

The $1 million Guaranteed Pick Six races will consist of the final six live races at Hollywood Park, as denoted in the official program.

HOLLYWOOD PARK’S GUARANTEE

On Sunday, July 3 and Saturday, July 9, 2005, Hollywood Park will guarantee a minimum Pick Six gross pool of $1,000,000 (one million dollars) including any carryover, with a minimum net pool of $800,000 to be distributed in accordance with Hollywood Park’s Pick Six rules as approved by the California Horse Racing Board.

NO MANDATORY PAY-OUT

Should no one select all six winners within the Pick Six, the pool will carry over in accordance with applicable CHRB rules. Please note: the Guarantee applies only to Sunday, July 3 and Saturday, July 9, 2005. In the event of a carryover, the Guarantee would NOT apply on the following race day.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTESTANTS

The $1 Million Guaranteed Pick Six will be played in accordance with the rules of the California Horse Racing Board and in accordance with the pari-mutuel rules in the jurisdiction where the wager originates. Age requirements may vary from location to location; however, in California entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Liability for any and all federal, state and local taxes rests solely with the prize winner(s). By entering the Hollywood Park $1 Million Guaranteed Pick Six, the contestants and winner(s) consent, without limitation and without receiving additional compensation, to the use of his/her likeness for advertising purposes of Hollywood Park, its broker or advertising agency.

ODDS

Odds of winning any cash prize in this contest will vary and will be determined in accordance with the pari-mutuel rules of the California Horse Racing Board based upon the number of participants, the amount of wagers, the number of horses in the involved races and chance.

LIMITATIONS

There is no limit to the number of Pick Six wagers a contestant may make. The minimum wager is $2.

JUDGING

Hollywood Park reserves the right to interpret all questions and conditions in regard to this promotion, without claim for damages or recourse of any kind. ALL QUESTIONS NOT COVERED IN THESE RULES WILL BE DECIDED BY MANAGEMENT OF HOLLYWOOD PARK, ITS DECISION TO BE FINAL.

CANCELLATION

Hollywood Park reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the $1 Million Guaranteed Pick Six promotion prior to the close of wagering on the Pick Six on Sunday, July 3 and Saturday, July 9, 2005, without liability or obligation to any contestant(s) for monies otherwise promised through the $1 million gross pool guarantee and for any reason including, but not limited to, any totalizator or wagering communication malfunction or failure, and any acts of God (e.g., earthquake, flood, storm, etc.).
