Free 70th Anniversary Pint Glass Set Cal National Gold Rush Day

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (April 14, 2008) - Fans attending Cal National Gold Rush IX will receive a Pint Glass Set commemorating Hollywood Park's 70th anniversary season on Sunday, April 27.
Hollywood Park, which opened on June 10, 1938, will distribute the glasses to fans with paid admission.
Other festivities on Gold Rush Day will include a Guaranteed $1-Million Pick Six and Family Fun Day in the North Park.
Cal National Gold Rush Day IX, featuring ten stakes races and purses of $1.31 million for California-breds, concludes the first week of racing at the 60-day meeting, which begins Wednesday, April 23.
The Pint Glass Set will be the first of four premium items available during the
2008 Spring/Summer Meet. Other giveaway items are scheduled for the following days:
- Beach Chair on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26
- T-Shirt on Hollywood Gold Cup Day, Saturday, June 28
- Tote Bag on American Oaks/CashCall Mile Day, Saturday, July 5
Feature race Gold Rush Day is the $250,000 Cal National Snow Chief Stakes.
