INGLEWOOD, Calif. (April 10, 2008) - The Inside Scoop, with television personality Kurt Hoover acting as host, will return for the third year at Hollywood Park's 2008 Spring/Summer Meet.
Hoover, one of horse racing's most respected commentators, is a regular on HRTV as well as serving as the inter-track television host for Hollywood Park. He has also covered the Triple Crown races for ESPN.
Hoover will analyze the Hollywood Park program and major simulcast races along with a special guest each Saturday during the 60-day meeting. Inside Scoop will begin at 12:20 p.m., one hour before first post time. It takes place at the paddock tote board.
PERLOFF WILL HOST RAILBIRD CLUB
Rich Perloff of TVG will be the host of The Railbird Club on Sunday mornings at the Spring/Summer Meet. He will comment on morning workouts and interview guests in the Finish Line Café during the weekly session, which takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Attendees will receive a free program.
PACE PAL SEMINARS SET FOR SUNDAYS
Pace Pals creator Craig Peterson will host a seminar on Sundays along with handicappers Jeff Munson and Stan Granch. The seminars will take place at the paddock tote board at 12:20 p.m.
