Show Me The Money Contest Returns At Spring/Summer Meet

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (April 9, 2008) - The popular Show Me The Money contest - featuring a winner-take-all prize of $5,000 - will return at Hollywood Park's 60-day Spring/Summer Meet, which begins Wednesday, April 23, and runs through Sunday, July 13.

Contestants pick one horse each racing day. If the horse runs first, second or third, contestants remain in the contest. If the horse runs out of the money, contestants are eliminated.

At the 2007 Spring/Summer Meet, Terry Jacobs of Marina del Rey prevailed over 2,274 other players to win the $5,000 prize. Jacobs and a contestant from Baton Rouge, La., battled head-to-head for five days before the winner was decided on the 53rd day of the 63-day meeting.

Deadline to sign up for Show Me The Money is ten minutes before the first race on Sunday, April 27 - final day of opening week and Cal National Gold Rush IX. Rules and additional information is available by visiting the Hollywood Park web site at www.hollywoodpark.com and clicking the Show Me The Money logo.
